Have any of you seen this show? It makes me sad. Basically you take a lie detector test and then go on national TV and have to answer the questions in front of the world with your family and friends sitting by your side. The show hasn't been on long but has already ruined at least one marriage.
Why would you go on this show?!!! I understand the need and desire for money, I live in my moms basement, I could really use the money, but seriously. When a show is on Fox you know they are going to make it as trashy as possible. I have nothing to hide. No big secrets here but my question is how much do you really trust the media? They will find a way to make anyone look bad just for the ratings.
One more thing, correct me if I'm wrong, but you can't even use lie detectors as evidence in a court room! Why would you want to risk your family and friendships on something not even reliable enough to be used in convicting a murderer? All for the chance to win up to $500,000. No one has won more than $100,000 so after paying for your divorce, tax's and moving (because all your neighbors now know your deepest darkest secrets) you are left with nothing.
Sorry I just had to rant.
About Me
- Becky
- I started out as a daughter and sister. Then things progressed and suddenly I was also a young child and a friend. As I grew I became a teen who was boy crazy and also enjoyed singing and performing in musicals. For a brief time I was a college student and then a newlywed. I enjoyed working in the "real world" as a claims adjuster's assistant. Then out of nowhere I was suddenly grown up and taking on the most challenging role of my life, Mother of 4. Now the time has come for the role of daughter to join the main players at center stage with the additional of the title, "caregiver".

I totally agree with you!!! It's so sad to me that people care more about money than about their relationships.
I would TOTALLY go on that show! They would never ask me to be on it because I am probably the MOST boring person and I have the least number of skeletons in my closet - so for me it would be no big deal! I think it's sad people are willing to risk their relationships for money but if you know what you've done and how you feel, it's your own fault if you're dumb enough to go on it!
If you know you have cheated on your spouse or that you are still in love with your Ex, or that you frequent the brothels, wouldn't you be smart enough to not go on the show? I
'm boring too and they would never put boring people on, what kind of questions would they ask? "Are French Fries really your favorite food?" "Why yes they are." SHOCKING!
