That my friends is the sound of me tooting my own horn. I participated in Broadway NATS (National Assoc. Teachers of Singing) on Saturday. Basically all the voice teachers get their students together and they compete. When I got there the other competitors looked at me like I was crazy when I said hi and tried to talked to them. Then they would just burst out into songs and warm ups. They were all VERY serious about this competition. When I begin to sing for the judges they just stared at me with blank faces, in fact they didn't even look at me during my last song. Well the results are in and I won 2nd place!!! I am very excited. The song I won for is called Adelaide's Lament, it is from Guys and Dolls. Here is a link of Carol Burnett singing it, of course I wasn't as good as her but it was really fun to ham it up.

About Me
- Becky
- I started out as a daughter and sister. Then things progressed and suddenly I was also a young child and a friend. As I grew I became a teen who was boy crazy and also enjoyed singing and performing in musicals. For a brief time I was a college student and then a newlywed. I enjoyed working in the "real world" as a claims adjuster's assistant. Then out of nowhere I was suddenly grown up and taking on the most challenging role of my life, Mother of 4. Now the time has come for the role of daughter to join the main players at center stage with the additional of the title, "caregiver".
