About Me
- Becky
- I started out as a daughter and sister. Then things progressed and suddenly I was also a young child and a friend. As I grew I became a teen who was boy crazy and also enjoyed singing and performing in musicals. For a brief time I was a college student and then a newlywed. I enjoyed working in the "real world" as a claims adjuster's assistant. Then out of nowhere I was suddenly grown up and taking on the most challenging role of my life, Mother of 4. Now the time has come for the role of daughter to join the main players at center stage with the additional of the title, "caregiver".

Whatever you do, don't turn 30.
My current insurance Premium is $404 a month. This plan has a $7500 maternity deductible so unless you have major complications they don't pay a penny. Well my dear sweat husbands recent birthday gave them an excuse to raise 0ur premium to $543.00 a month! I just got the letter! So if you figure in the $50 increase we receive it will be $593.00 at the end of the year, $643 at the end of 2009. Then comes 2010 when I turn 30 so lets tack on another $140 so that makes $783.00 a month. Hmmm....will we ever get a house? Plus I'm sure that other changes in the economy will cause to raise it even more that I have projected. So I will be paying $783.00 a month for security! Is it worth it? I'm sure if I got cancer they would find a way to not pay anything, if I got in an automobile accident State Farm would pay for that, so why do I pay them all this money? So that can pay $80 of my well child check ups? Lets see $80Xabout 10 visists a year. $800, in two years that will be one months premium, I could save over $8500 a year! I will end my rant now until Steven gets home and I can break the news to him.
