My 5 year old

I can't believe my little boy is 5 years old today! I still think of him as the little boy in the above picture. That was on his first Birthday after enjoying his Superman Cake. Many things and changed as he has grown but a lot has also stayed the same.

Stayed the Same
He still LOVES anything super.
He HATES taking naps.
He loves to sing.
He talks like crazy!
His favorite play mate is daddy.
His favorite drink is milk (for today, yesterday it was water)
He loves to explore and find out about the world around him.
He likes to play the chicken elmo game on the computer.
He hates shots.
Cookies are his favorite food.
He is tender hearted

Changes
He is SO big, last time I carried him I feel down the stairs.
He has so many friends that he and mommy don't have as much time together.
He can write his first name.
He knows his phone number.
He goes to preschool.
He likes to walk on the treadmill after mommy does.
He thinks he's Iron Man and all he is missing is the suit.

Actually he loves to wear 1-2 t-shirts with 1-2 hooddies over them.
He says, "Ugh" when he doesn't get his way.
His Best friend is Reed.
He loves building batcaves

Although Max can drive me crazy with all of his questions and interruptions I still love him more than words can express. He is always there to comfort me if I am sad and protect his sister even when she doesn't need protection. Reed just said he didn't want to play with Elese and Max said, "Reed, lets just let her play with us." Max is a very important part of our family and we love him!
