Saturday we went to the Safe Kids fair. Batman was there. Max was thrilled, Elese was scared. Max told Batman that he was his biggest fan and Batman told Max how to use some Batman toy that he took with him. Safe Kids Fair ROCKS! We will go again next year and take some cash so the kids can buy something fun to take home.

As Steven was leaving to get the car (he had to park on the other end of the expo center) he discovered something wonderful. Steven ran back to us, whispered in my ear and took Elese running...Snow White was there! So now, not only was Max on a high for seeing and meeting Batman but Elese couldn't stop smiling. Elese kept skipping around and running into people because she was so happy.

The also got to tour a fire truck.

Speaking of the expo center...The weekend before Stevens work had a booth at the RV show and he had to go on Sunday so we tagged along. Elese and I spent the majority of the time hanging out in a random RV playing house. There were dishes on the table so I would be the baby and she would be the mommy, I would sleep and then she would wake me up for breakfast. Sometimes we even danced around...you should have seen the looks we got from some people. Anyway, at one point she wanted to "sleep" in the bed but first she had to say her prayers. So there she was kneeling down at the bed in an RV, on a Sunday mind you (break the Sabbath much?), saying her bedtime prayers while people were touring the RV.
Ok...back to Saturday. After the safe kids fair we found a house that we loved...very unique...very cottagy!! Loved it! The sellers agent had told our agent that there were no offers on it so we waited until Monday to offer...we wanted our agent to see it (his BIL takes us out looking while John gives us the advice and does the paper work) besides, banks are generally closed on for that type of business on Saturdays anyway. Went again Monday, had Johns rave reviews and went to sign the papers. When John called the other agent she now said, "Oh, that house is bank owned (she hadn't told us that before) and it has had 2 other offers on it for quite some time now and I think one may have already been accepted." GRRRR!!! Sure enough...someone else got the house. Not too happy but life goes on.
The end.
Oh and I saw a Dave Ramsey card board cut out at the safe kids fair so I HAD to take a picture with the man (well, the cardboard man) that has helped us crawl out of debt!...we are ALMOST debt free...so let's buy a house and get in even more debt, right?
