This year we visited the Triangle C Ranch for AYL's New Years Episode. We headed up Friday night and the roads were SUPER icy. Steven got us there safely much later than we had anticipated because of the road conditions. First we were going to stay upstairs in a one bedroom with a bath and a sink in it but no toilet...because of my need to get up several times in the night we worked it out so we could move downstairs. Steven and I had our own room and the kids slept on sofa bed in the living room and we had our own bathroom. The Woods, Booths, Andrew and Darin stayed up most of the night drinking and visiting...every now and then we would hear a big laugh from upstairs. Max woke us up in the morning complaining that Elese had wet the bed. As it turned out it was really him that had wet the bed. We hadn't quite figured out the furnace so it was pretty cold and I'm pretty sure his body was just trying to keep itself warm. They provided a yummy breakfast at the lodge and we hung out their while Steven filmed. Later that day we ate a YUMMY lunch and then did some sledding for the shoot. Steven and Elese biffed it once but she got right back on. With the help of Kory and Darin the kids got to tube and sled while Steven filmed and I watched. That night we had a yummy dinner and had a better nights sleep than the night before.

The next morning there was breakfast again and the kids got acquainted with some sled dogs and met the animals that they keep at the ranch while Steven finished up filming. The kids loved feeding the horse named Spiderman and had fun watching the lamb follow around a cow and try to moo. Kory took the kids for a quick snow mobile ride and they made some snow angels in the very deep snow. On the way home we (our family and Andrew) stopped at the Little America for linner and then made it the rest of the way home.

I took Spencer and Ash to Jump & Bounce today - we had a blast. We were there for 3 hours and played hard. All sweaty and thirsty. I saw you guys on AYL at that place so I wanted to take the boys.
your kids have grown up so fast. very cute. (kathryn bennett in case you didn't know)
