Steven had some free passes to the Solomon Center that we'd been talking about using for a while and Max's birthday was the perfect opportunity. We started off at Fat Cats which was WAY over priced and way too crowded but we gave the kids some coins that they went through very quickly. Then we were off to Ifly. Both the kids were excited but Elese was a little reluctant however she eventually decided that she was up for it. After their little training session they put on their gear and watched the group before us. After their first flights both of them wanted out and were crying! Elese came out but Max just wanted a mask because he didn't like the wind in his face...so he got to go 2 more times because someone needed to do Elese's second jump for her. Elese kept cheering for Max and said, "I was really good at indoor skydiving but I never want to do it again!" The instructor pointed up with his thumb asking Max if he wanted to go up high, Max nodded thinking he meant "are you ok" and initially freaked out as he went up about 30 feet but then he LOVEd it. Steven and I were both so proud of them for doing something that was out of their comfort zone. Max said it was just as scary as it was fun.

After that we went to get some dinner at the pizza factory and finished up at Irock (the rock wall). We had to bribe the kids with treats to climb high and it worked with Max but Elese didn't even care about getting her prize, she just wanted to climb up a little bit and then jump off and say "Weee!!!" This was a really fun day but I'm so sad that my memory isn't better about it. Because I was so far behind on blogging I made notes about all the details and cute things the kids said but our computer crashed in April and I lost them all! Bummer.
