maX-Box and Karate *March 30th, 2012*

Max gets to play X-Box for one or two hours on Friday's and that's it.  Anymore than that affects his attitude.  When I came into the room and saw him sitting this way I just had to take a picture.  He looked so grown up to me.  Just chillin' out, playing X-Box and leaning on his knees.  Cute Kid.
Later that day Max got to test for his Yellow Belt.  If you've been paying attention you would realize that he's done this before but it was at a different studio.  Max was so proud of himself for folding up his belt perfectly with his eyes closed. "All the other kids just threw their belts but I folded mine."

Another fun tidbit about Max is this story about when he slept walked one morning.  He's never done this before or since but it made me chuckle.  This was on February 24th, 2012.

Max woke up this morning and went to the bathroom.  Then he came in my room and started getting really emotional.  I asked what was wrong and he said, “Daddy kind of got mad at me.”  Me: “Why” Max: “I was going potty and these giants came in and me and daddy lost the game so he got mad at me.”  Me: “There were giants in the bathroom with you?” Max:”No, they were just really big people.”  Me: “Are you sure you weren’t dreaming?” Max: “No mom.  We lost the game.  They had more people than we did and daddy was mad.”  Steven, who was in the shower, later said that Max was making really strange noises.  The rest of the morning he was really upset and emotional, even after we helped in him realize that it wasn’t real.
