Steven had to be in the Buttlerville Day's Parade (Cottonwood Heights) for work. The kids loved riding in the ATV on the trailer-it ended up that I had to drive the suburban while towing the kids..I was a little scared-never towed anything before. Steven pushed Sam in his stroller complete with an AYL sticker.
I made it through without crashing so it wasn't too bad. Oh-the worst part was that they started the parade with a gun shot. Just a few day's before this an psyco had thrown a bunch of tear gas into the midnight showing of The Dark Knight rises and shot a bunch of people. It was difficult for people to get away because of the tear gas. It also made going to the movies a little bit scary...so when the gun shot went off there were lots of screams and my heart was pounding. Anyway Chad helped guide me when I had to turn onto Bengal Blvd and they arranged for me to park on the side of the road instead of the church parking lot...Chad and Ria were ready to leave anyway and didn't want to get stuck with all the floats. After the parade we took the kids to the bounce houses where they bounced and played. Then we went to visit my mom-I think we went out to dinner. She also bought us a bench for our front pourch! I'd been wanting one so bad so she gave us some cash because she saw a good one at Dan's. We also picked up some fireworks. Steven put the bench together and then we did some fireworks together as a family. It was a very enjoyable holiday. These pictures are horrible but it's fun to see Steven helping the kids with the fireworks.
About Me
- Becky
- I started out as a daughter and sister. Then things progressed and suddenly I was also a young child and a friend. As I grew I became a teen who was boy crazy and also enjoyed singing and performing in musicals. For a brief time I was a college student and then a newlywed. I enjoyed working in the "real world" as a claims adjuster's assistant. Then out of nowhere I was suddenly grown up and taking on the most challenging role of my life, Mother of 4. Now the time has come for the role of daughter to join the main players at center stage with the additional of the title, "caregiver".
