Family Fun and the Raceway *July 14th 2012*

We took a little family trip to Walmart and just looked a toys-bought a few things-looked at yard stuff for the house...it was a nice family outing.  Just as we turned on to our street the car died.  For years the gas gage hasn't worked on my car and we tend to have about 300-350 miles before we need to feel up again and we can go even longer when we are traveling and do most our driving on the freeway.  The mileage only showed 259 but all the driving we had been doing we just local driving.  So-I sat steered the car while Steven pushed us home.  Max helped.
That night we went to the Rocky Mountain Raceway to see a race.  It was very loud.  Sam wasn't quite sure what to think at first but started to enjoy it and would point at the cars and smile.  Max and Elese liked it for a while but after a couple of races they were plugging their ears and complaining about the sound.

We had purchased a couple of Passes of all Passes.  Because Derek is the main marketing guy for the Pass of all Passes he gave us a couple more passes for free.  This is what allowed us to go to the races for free.  We also went to 7 peaks a couple of times.  Once Steven and I went on a date (the same night as the 48 hour premier)-he took Elese on a date-Max on a date- and we all went together as a family another day.  We also get free bowling (minus the shows) and free admission to the Trafalaga fun centers.  This allowed us to have some fun family outings.  Plus-because we got a a couple passes for free we only spent $60.00 for all the fun and 7 peaks alone is $25.00 per person per visit.  It was a great deal.  We just renewed for $29 a piece but we get $80 in Walmart gift cards so it ends up only costing us $9 per pass.  Not bad.
