Before family night something happened that has not happened since...who knows...it had been a while.
For family night we had a very important meeting. I'm pretty sure the lesson was on families or something else applicable to the big news. After a short lesson we played hang man. While playing hand man Sam decided to do some laundry. This consisted of him taking all of Elese's clothes out of her drawers- putting them in the basket and pushing them around.
It took the kids a while to figure out what the answer was in hangman. Can you figure it out?
Just in case you can't figure it out....
Max's response: "For Reals!?" Elese said "For real life?" Sam didn't seem to care much. We were really good about keeping it secret. Just us and my friend Cindy knew. She was having a belly wrapping party and I told her I wasn't sure if I could go and she figured it out. I had found out on Thursday and we thought we should tell the kids so they would be prepared for me to get really sick. I didn't get to sick though...It's been my easiest pregnancy yet! I've only thrown up twice and I'm at 31 weeks right now. Pretty awesome. We told our parents about a month later. We had planned to tell them at 12 weeks but Steven was going to be leaving town for comic con so we probably told them at about 8 or 10 weeks...can't remember. Then at the 12 week mark the kids raised their hands and shouted it out to the primary and I told everyone during good news minute. :)
About Me
- Becky
- I started out as a daughter and sister. Then things progressed and suddenly I was also a young child and a friend. As I grew I became a teen who was boy crazy and also enjoyed singing and performing in musicals. For a brief time I was a college student and then a newlywed. I enjoyed working in the "real world" as a claims adjuster's assistant. Then out of nowhere I was suddenly grown up and taking on the most challenging role of my life, Mother of 4. Now the time has come for the role of daughter to join the main players at center stage with the additional of the title, "caregiver".
