We left home around 3:30 and stopped for dinner at Arby's in Richfield. While driving Sam was a bit grumpy so Elese and I sang to him. Elese made up words to old McDonald. There was a mom with a "smooch smooch here" and and Elese with an "I love you there" a daddy with a "hug hug here" and a Sam with a "Waaaa Waaaa there". This shoot was an event for viewers so that evening started with us getting settled in our RV and then going to an ice cream social. Sam and Elese both wanted to sit on my lap so it was the same as any given Sunday during Sacrament meeting. Sam was quite tired so I went to put him to bed while Steven finished up some work stuff. It wasn't a great night sleep because Sam was grumpy and would woke up several times because he was cold. We weren't really sure how much power was in the generator since it was a borrowed RV so we didn't use the heat at all. Steven was sweet and would get up to take care of Sam so that I wouldn't have to do it and get nauseous.

Elese woke up around 6:30 because she was scared and coughing. Once we got her back to bed her tooth fell out.
At that point Steven took the kids outside so I could sleep-they could play- and he could get things set up for the days shoot. The big kids wanted to climb the big hill by our RV and Sam tried to follow suit.
I was torn about going on the ATV ride because we weren't sure about space and I wasn't sure how it would go with me being pregnant. We had it worked out so I decided to go but Sam had other plans. He HATED the ATV and wanted out immediately! He cried and screamed and tried to climb out. I was going to have to ride in a different ATV so I decided to give up hope and stay with Sam back at camp. Steven took the big kids.
There was some drama with Chad's machine but eventually everything got going. Sam and I took a little nap and then walked to the Pizza place where when he was just 6 weeks only the kids asked a magic 8 ball if I would have triplets and the answer was "Definitely". Then we sat at the picnic bench and waited for everyone to return from the ride. Sam had a water bottle and loved playing with it and putting rocks in it.
Now's when things get a little hazzy because I didn't make any more notes...
The evening ended with a dutch oven dinner. A couple of friends from Costa Rica came so it was fun to see them. I didn't get much time to catch up because I was chasing kids and didn't go on the ATV trip but it was fun to visit a bit during dinner. Then we all went to bed-woke up and made the journey home.
About Me
- Becky
- I started out as a daughter and sister. Then things progressed and suddenly I was also a young child and a friend. As I grew I became a teen who was boy crazy and also enjoyed singing and performing in musicals. For a brief time I was a college student and then a newlywed. I enjoyed working in the "real world" as a claims adjuster's assistant. Then out of nowhere I was suddenly grown up and taking on the most challenging role of my life, Mother of 4. Now the time has come for the role of daughter to join the main players at center stage with the additional of the title, "caregiver".
