Thanksgiving Shoot *October 19th 2012*

This years Thanksgiving shoot was a quick one day trip. On the way we were a bit delayed though.  The work car we were driving was making a very strange noise so we stopped in Heber to have it looked at.  It was a good thing we did or we would have been stuck in the middle of no where.  Derrick and Brian came and traded us vehicles and towed the car home. 

Once we finally arrived in Vernal we hung out at a very small cabin.  It was our family-Chad and Ria and Alisha along with her mom son Colton and her baby.  The kids liked just playing around in the dirt.  Chad made Turkey Monte Cristos for our thanksgiving feast while Steven cooked up some brownies in the dutch oven...Ria helped but put in too much oils so they were quite goopy.  Steven took Max and Elese each for an ATV ride.  We also announced in the open to the show that I'm pregnant.  It was fun because Chad didn't even know so it was a nice surprise for not only the audience but the cast and crew as well.  Then we headed home...we stopped to get me some food at Wendy's because I wasn't feeling great.  There was a really bad accident that sent us on a crazy detour so that made our drive home last quite a bit longer.

It was a tiring day because I forgot Sam's shoes so he spent the day in his jammies and ended up quite muddy.  The best part was the FANTASTIC sunset we saw on our way home.  Steven stopped to get some shots of it for the show and I got this photo with my phone.
