This is a note I wrote in my notebook.
Loves to throw things. He will "count" before he throws them. He doesn't say the numbers but indicates them "hm-hm-hm" with the pitch you would use to count. He does the same for Thank You and All done. He does an evil villain laugh. He hums the clean up song and is good about cleaning up. He understands directions like "throw this in the garbage"-"Let's take the big kids to school"-"I need to go potty" he'll head to the bathroom. If he needs a diaper change he will tug at his pants. When I ask if he needs to be changed he will nod and go into his room. He only says "ma-ma" and "da-da" he watches for Steven out the window when I start making dinner. He can sign more-milk-all done-please-sorry (but he signs it on the person he is saying sorry to) - and his favorite sign is cookie. He takes a morning rest most days but just talks and plays and then takes a 2-4 hour nap around 11 or 1. His bed time is 7 ad wakes up about 6:15 jabbering and goes back to sleep until 7:15. Max helps him get out of his crib in the morning. He likes to feed himself but often times just dumps the food on his tray and begs for ours. I think he kind of understands that I'm pregnant. He goes to Lassigs on Tuesdays while I volunteer at the school. Last week was the first time he didn't cry. He still cries at nursery but calms quickly. He loves to h"help" me cook and waves his hands over the stove and blows to indicate it is hot. He is independent and stubborn. He RARELY smiles at strangers but they don't seem to mind and think he is the cutest thing. He LOVES outside - playing in the dirt and throwing rocks. He loves our morning walks and points at the stroller when we get home from taking the kids to school. I love him! He leads music. He knows drive thru speakers mean suckers or food so when we drive away he starts to beg for food and treats.
About Me
- Becky
- I started out as a daughter and sister. Then things progressed and suddenly I was also a young child and a friend. As I grew I became a teen who was boy crazy and also enjoyed singing and performing in musicals. For a brief time I was a college student and then a newlywed. I enjoyed working in the "real world" as a claims adjuster's assistant. Then out of nowhere I was suddenly grown up and taking on the most challenging role of my life, Mother of 4. Now the time has come for the role of daughter to join the main players at center stage with the additional of the title, "caregiver".
