Elese wrote a letter to Santa at school and asked him for a new stocking. Everyone in our family woke up to new stockings with our names on them! She was very happy but did mention that she had only asked for a new stocking for herself. Her big gift was a tea set cart.
Sam got a Mator push toy that blows bubbles. Initially he liked it but didn't love it. After a day or two he started to LOVE it and we went through bubbles very quickly. It's quite loud and he loves pushing it around and making Max and Elese mad while they are trying to watch a movie.
Santa also brought me a new kitchen table...
...on top of the table was a pack of action figures Steven had been wanting very badly.

After playing with our toys for a bit we headed to Heumann's for Brunch. After about an hour at home to play with toys it was time to go to my mom's for lunch and gifts. Then back to Heumann's for Christmas dinner. My mom gave me a food dehydrator (which I love and use at least once or twice a month) and Steven a new set of luggage. Eric and Suzy gave us some towels and a date night at Jordan Commons.
This year I will make better notes about Christmas so my Christmas blog post will be more exciting. Just because this doesn't necessitate an entire blog post (I don't have photos) we had New Years Eve party again this year with Steven's friends. We stayed up late chatting while the kids stayed up late playing...I think the kids went to bed around 2:00am again. Max was so tired he went to bed at about 1:30 before our friends had left.
