Princess for the Day *February 23rd 2013*

Elese had been in dire need of some extra mommy time and I found out that the Paul Mitchell school that was putting on a Princess Day.  I had it all planned and had a babysitter but then it started snowing like crazy!  I was worried about the weather and everyone on facebook was saying how bad the roads were and to stay home.  I prayed about it and felt like things would be fine.  Sure enough when we got on the road everything was just fine!  Things were a little wet but nothing that required all the crazy drama on FB.

I'm not sure it was worth the money...I wasn't super impressed.  Elese-however- was SO happy to have all my attention so that made it worth all the money in the world!

Afterward we stopped at Training Table for some cheese fries...after a couple of bites Elese complained of a stomach ache so I had lots of yummy fries to take home.

This is my pretty princess...

At this point in Elese's life she was missing her mommy.  She had all day kindergarten and it was hard for her to be gone all day.  Volunteering in her class was very helpful but when she had to come right home and do homework-eat dinner- and then go to bed to do it all over again she started to get a little bit cranky.  I have never loved someone SO much who has driven me so crazy.  Elese likes to hint about what she needs instead of come right out and ask for it so if she wants love she will get right in your face and be very loud...it's not very subtle but a very loud cry for love.  I was very happy that I could give her some extra attention that day.

Just a few things about her...her teacher is Ms. Sams.  She is very nice a pretty and has a boyfriend named Dan.  She has some friends at school but they tend to threaten Elese with things like "I won't be your friend anymore if we don't do what I want".  Crazy to already have "mean girls" in kindergarten.  She has a crush on Stockton and he chases her and her friends at recess.  She also has a crush on William who is the very best reader in her class.  Elese is one of the very best readers in her class and get's all 4's (a's).  She takes Ballet once a week and is getting more and more focused with it and looks forward to her recital.  Together we paint nails and visit.  I'm so happy to have such a fun and energetic daughter.
