On my birthday Steven had to film a commercial for work but it was ok because the next day we were going to have a fun family day and a date night with our besties.
Steven had to film at the annual Take a Friend Snowmobiling event and so we tagged along and even had a friend meet us there. My neighbor Casie had posed on facebook that she had her kids that weekend and wanted to take them to do something fun so she and her Brother came up with her kids.
We arrived while things were still getting set up so while we waited the kids played in the snow.
We spent some time in the car keeping warm...
This year we didn't ride the big snow mobiles because we needed to get home for my birthday dinner but lucky for the kids there was a kids snow mobile!
Sam was going to ride it with Ria for a shot but he just screamed so we got him off and put Elese on. Then she rode by herself and kept almost running people over but she was having too much fun to care.
Max drove by himself and did such a good job that he got to go another lap. When he was done the guy in charge told him that he should get a permit because he was so good. Max asked what that was and when I told him it was like a drivers license he got a huge smile on his face.
They played a little more in the snow and we ate some fantastic chili and had hot chocolate. Then we headed home to meet the Perry's for Cindy and my birthday dinner.
About Me
- Becky
- I started out as a daughter and sister. Then things progressed and suddenly I was also a young child and a friend. As I grew I became a teen who was boy crazy and also enjoyed singing and performing in musicals. For a brief time I was a college student and then a newlywed. I enjoyed working in the "real world" as a claims adjuster's assistant. Then out of nowhere I was suddenly grown up and taking on the most challenging role of my life, Mother of 4. Now the time has come for the role of daughter to join the main players at center stage with the additional of the title, "caregiver".
