Sam started calling his blanket "gobee" just after Liv was born.
Liv would smile at us when she was 4 weeks old and then stopped. She started again at 6 weeks. At 6 weeks she
sleeps for a 7 hour stretch and then 2-3 hours. She has had a stuffy nose most of
life so I started using saline drops around 4 weeks. She's been stuffy free for about a
week until this morning. Spent morning in bed with kids. Daddy at
expo center for a thing with Derrick. Watched movies of Sam When he was
6 weeks old. He and Liv look the same. Sam thought he was Liv. Sam got mad if Olivia looked at Elese or Elese touched her. Sam acting out, hitting big kids.
Begging for attention. I've been pushing him on the swing when she naps. That
seems to help. He loves the "baby" but points to her bed or bouncy seat when he
wants me all to himself.
Max is extra emotional. Trying to give him more snuggle time and less "babysitting" time.
Elese is whinny. Trying to not respond to her cries and let her self soothe. Also, needs more mommy love.
I'm trying to adjust to my type 4ness. Need to focus my need for perfection on the kids and not keeping the house clean.
About Me
- Becky
- I started out as a daughter and sister. Then things progressed and suddenly I was also a young child and a friend. As I grew I became a teen who was boy crazy and also enjoyed singing and performing in musicals. For a brief time I was a college student and then a newlywed. I enjoyed working in the "real world" as a claims adjuster's assistant. Then out of nowhere I was suddenly grown up and taking on the most challenging role of my life, Mother of 4. Now the time has come for the role of daughter to join the main players at center stage with the additional of the title, "caregiver".
