On December 7th we set up Christmas decorations and I tried to get a cute picture of Sam in a Santa hat. I got lots of cute ones.
Then everyone hung up their ornaments that we got in Texas
and I hung up mine a few days later after it came in the mail. Sam and Max both loved Ninja Turtles and Sam used a turtle book and turtle's on Popsicle sticks to help him with his speech so I thought this was the perfect ornament for our family.
Rosie got into a bit of trouble...
but made up for it by special delivering a stocking for Olivia.
Then there was the day (dec. 17th) that Santa stopped by. I tried to prepare Sam for the possibility of Santa coming. He kept saying, "ho ho choo choo" I didn't want Santa to come visit again and not have a choo choo and have Sam throw a fit. I told him that Santa might come one day and let us see him and then come when we are asleep on Christmas. At one point I laid on the couch and Sam tried to get me up and said, "no rest, ho ho come". After Steven got home Sam shouted "ho ho come now!" I said, "why do you think he is coming tonight?" Sam said, "oh, ho ho in 2 minutes?" It was more like 45 minutes but he knew what was going on. The door was open so Santa walked right in and scared Sam so much that he screamed and screamed.
After a little singing and bell jingling
and seeing the other kids sit on Santa's lap and get presents
he decided that Santa wasn't so bad after all.
About Me
- Becky
- I started out as a daughter and sister. Then things progressed and suddenly I was also a young child and a friend. As I grew I became a teen who was boy crazy and also enjoyed singing and performing in musicals. For a brief time I was a college student and then a newlywed. I enjoyed working in the "real world" as a claims adjuster's assistant. Then out of nowhere I was suddenly grown up and taking on the most challenging role of my life, Mother of 4. Now the time has come for the role of daughter to join the main players at center stage with the additional of the title, "caregiver".
