In December Steven began reading the Harry Potter series to Max. They both really enjoyed it. Steven used different voices and accents to make it more interesting for Max. After they finished each book we would all watch the movies together for a family movie night. Once the movies started getting into the PG-13 range Elese would go to bed. We did give in and let Max see the 7th part 2 in the theaters and he loved it. The night they finished the final book they stayed up until 10pm. At 8pm Max came downstairs to see me and he was crying his eyes out. He was so upset because Harry Potter had just died. Steven kept giving me puppy dog eyes and together they convinced me to let Max stay up late to finish the book. Max was very relieved when Harry Potter came back to life. Elese even began having a love for all thing's Harry Potter and would occasionally ask, "Do I look like Hermione?" One Saturday this month Steven made the kids each their own wands and made himself one that looked like the Elder wand. Max and Elese have known for quite sometime what they are going to be for Halloween and I'm sure you can guess.
