Steven had a shoot in Marysvale, UT at Rocky Ridge Resort and it was a trip that we could tag along on. This was Sam's first long car drive and he did great, sleeping most the time. He was 6 weeks old.

We stayed in a cabin with a loft and the kids loved sleeping in the loft but they kept hitting their head's on the ceiling. It was kind of funny because as the kids were falling asleep we would hear them say "OW!" every time they sat up in bed.
We knew we were going to be ATVing on this trip but we were unsure if Sam and I could go. I had planned to stay at the cabin with Sam and catch up on some sleep but when we woke up in the morning they had a HUGE 6 seater, seatbelted ATV so we could all ride and best of all, I got to drive. Because Steven had to keep getting out and filming I got to navigate through a narrow trail that had been over run with trees. Every so often we would stop while our guide would chop down a branch so we could get through. Fairly often one of us would get hit in the face or arm with a branch...the kids didn't love that part.

Once we got to our destination we had to stop and go for a hike to see a waterfall. I sat and fed Sam while the kids played and nearly plummeted to their deaths...not really, but I sure thought they were going to.

Once I finished feeding Sam I gave him to the cabin owners wife and went to find Max who had followed Steven down to the waterfall. When I found him he was all alone in a not so safe place and I wasn't happy...then Max told me that Steven had fallen and almost fell of a cliff. I wasn't happy and I was very stressed. Fortunately just then Bailey Toone was coming back up the mountain and she helped Max climb his way back up. It turned out that Steven slipped on the snow and slide several feet and finally stopped just about 1 foot from the ledge.

On the way down the mountain I was nervous about carrying Sam down the mountain while because of the slippery snow so Kory offered to carry him. It was very helpful but I have to admit that I was watching each and every one of Kory's steps to make sure that I could warn him if he was about to slip.

That night we headed in to downtown Marysvale and ate at the one and only restaurant, "The Garage" which was a pizza place. Sam had some crying issues while we were there but it wasn't too bad because we were the only ones their and the owners wife came by later and we found out she was pregnant with their 7th (I think) child, so they understood the crying baby.
Steven had been wanting to take us to "The Wedge" for quite some time so on the morning of the 22nd we took the long way home and stopped at The Wedge. Sam ate while I kept Elese safe and Steven and Max went on a little hike. Steven was very worried because Heidi and George were having a dinner at their house that day and we were running late.
