This year for the 48 hour film project we drew horror but opted for a wild card. They ended up with detective/cop movie. We had Greg Anderson join us because his group wasn't participating this year and he had access to a fantastic make up artist whose done work for Buffy and other sci-fi shows. Early in the morning Joe, his friend, and Justin all went in for their make up. We picked up Joe on our way out to Layton. It was fun driving down the freeway and having Joe get strange looks as people passed us.
Then the rest of us went to the Castle of Chaos where they had some of their make up artists helping get us ready. We even had a hair stylist this year.
Steven was playing a lead roll and lucky for me finally needed to shave his beard he'd been growing for a while. The only problem was that he decided to keep the mustache...well at least for the shoot.
After a long day of shooting and another day of editing this was our final product. We won Audience Favorite and best special effects.
