Farewell Mark *February 2013*

Steven's nephew Mark was called on a mission to Cauayan Philippines.  His farewell was February 10th.  We went and enjoyed the meeting.  Samuel of course wanted to sit with Grandma and PaPa and they didn't seem to mind.  Mark did a great job on his talk!  Afterward we went to their house for snacks.  I took my Texas Salsa and had lots of requests for the recipe.  I love that stuff!  (5 avocados - 7 tomatoes-one can black eyed peas-one can black beans - 10 oz frozen corn - chopped cilantro & Italian dressing).

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this before but Sam is NOT Marks greatest fan.  Mark loves Sam so much but Sam just doesn't like all of that attention.  I'm hoping by the time Mark gets home (he's been out 6 months!) Sam will be nicer to him.

The next night Steven's mom had dinner for everyone to say our official goodbyes to Mark with just our family.  Elese made him a going away card.
