My niece Nicole was getting ready to have her first baby so
the kids and I went to her shower. I was
hoping to leave them home but Steven had a shoot come up. It was a nice day and a great opportunity to
finally get that belly shot I’d been wanting of the two of us. Nicole was born when I was just 7 years
old. I had always wanted a sister and
decided that she would be like a sister to me.
Honestly we weren’t really that close until she moved in with my mom (we
were living in the basement) while she was going to college. She and I would go to Step Aerobics Monday’s
and Wednesday’s at 6am and it was taught by Tammy Carlson who was a room mother
for me when I was young. Then Tuesday
nights we would go to yoga and Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7am we would go
to a Muscle Up class. I love her so much
and being pregnant and having babies close to the same age has been really
fun. They day Tyce was born I posted on
Facebook that after all my years of hard work that I had finally earned the
title of GREAT aunt.
