Happy 13th Anniversary! *June 23rd 2013*

Steven had scout camp June 17th-22nd.  Because I had a little new baby I had asked Steven's mom to take the big kids for a sleep over on Friday night so that I could get some sleep on Saturday.  It was rough having him gone with a new baby but it wasn't too bad.  I remember a week or two later being so thankful that he had gone to scout camp when he had.  Olivia was still sleeping quite a bit but in the coming weeks she was awake more and therefore demanded more of my attention. Because our anniversary fell on a Sunday we had decided to go out Saturday night to dinner and to go see the new Superman movie.

Friday Night (the 21st) I was getting ready to take the kids to his parents and head out to Saratoga Springs to spend some time with my friend Cindy.  I was in need of some grown up time. I didn't really want to make the drive out there but her husband had to work so the only way for us to get together was for Liv and I to go out there.  So I had just decided that I would go to her house so I was calling to let her know I would be on my way soon.  Then the doorbell rang.  When I answered it there was my sweet loving handsome kind wonderful amazing husband with flowers in hand.  I was so surprised and happy that I started to cry and gave him a big hug.  He and the scouts had had a very fun and active camp and had decided earlier in the week to come home on Friday instead of Saturday.  So together we took the kids to his parents so they wouldn't miss out on their sleepover and Hailey came over to babysit Olivia. We went to Madeline's for dinner and then came home to feed Olivia.  After that we went to see Superman. Steven saw it opening day and I hadn't seen it yet.  It was more sci-fiee than I had expected and I liked it much more when I saw it again the next weekend with Cindy and Marcus.  Saturday morning we went to have breakfast at Black Bear and we either dropped Livy off to Steven's parents or she was a complete angel - I don't' remember.  Then we picked up the kids and spent the day with them.  This included taking them to the splash pad.  Sam wasn't sure what to think of it...
That night we just relaxed at home which Steven appreciated considering how hard he had played at scout camp.

On Sunday June 23rd we went to church.  Then we had a family home evening on eternal marriage and watched our wedding video with the kids and Steven gave me a very nice massage.
