Haloween 2013 *October 31st 2013*

We started off the day at the kids' school parade.  Max was a ninja.

Elese was a vampire princess.

 

When she saw me she shouted "Oh no mom!  I ate garlic!" Which is what she said all last night when she ate our garlic bread with dinner. She was "so excited" that she left her backpack and lunch in the car. That's what she told me when she called to have me bring it.

After school Elese made a spooky decoration with her coat on the front porch. I was very impressed!

We ran to Target for something and Liv and I almost hit by a car in the parking lot. It was Very scary!  I couldn't stop hugging and kissing her after that! I had to shout for the car to stop and everyone near by was staring at us looking very concerned.  Max said he was worried when he saw the car but felt that we would be ok. She turned down the lane we were crossing in when we were already in the road. She was sweet and came to apologize and tell me the sun was in her eyes as I was getting the kids buckled back into the car.

Sam refused to nap today and it was to his detriment.  Elese had an acting class party and after that we went to sweet tomatoes for dinner. The kids ate free...it was still too expensive. Sam wouldn't eat (he ate tons of tuna at lunch) and he was not being very cooperative. I had to take him out. He cried when we said we were going home. We were going to go see Sister Taylor but not my mom because she was spending Halloween at Spencer's.  due to Sam's fit we decided to just head home so this was the first year that we didn't go to her house on Halloween.

Once we got home we got everyone in their costumes an Max was already planning out what he is going to be next year and had to take his nun chucks with him as an extra little detail for his costume.

 Liv looked uber cute in Casie's little hot pepper costume.

 Then we all went to Mechams where they got a special chocolate milk. Then Sam was too scared (and cranky) to go to Jameson's so he came home with me. I let him trick or treat at our house with the precursor that he would have to eat it tomorrow. Then he flipped because he couldn't have it right then. Put his pjs on while he screamed.  Only moments later he was quiet as could be and sound asleep. Once everyone got home Uncle Tim and Jordan came by and took Max with them to trick-or-treat at grandma an papas. 

The next day we stopped by sister Taylor's and she said "Max - I knew you would come! I waited for you all night and I am so glad that you came today!" Got home and got everyone in their costumes. Liv looked so cute in Casie's old hot pepper costume.
