October Randoms *October 2013*

Samuel loves spending time with me in the mornings and is quite insistent that I never leave his sight. While it is a bit flattering it does make it difficult for me to be very productive. On October 2nd Sam, once again, didn't want me to go make lunch so he took matters into his own hands by trapping my legs an shouting "No!"

Liv makes cleaning Blake's house quite difficult but on October 3rd she fell asleep while watching cars with Sam.
On October 6th we learned what Uncle Blake would look like with hair. He had stumbled upon a wig at Grandma's house.

PaPa Heumann comes to babysit every Tuesday while I go volunteer at school. Sam loves this time with PaPa but Liv not so much. He comes during her nap time so in theory she should be sound asleep but she seems to sense that I'm gone and just lay in her crib crying.  Then as soon as I pick her up she calms right
down. On October 8th PaPa took this photo when I got home an texted it to me with the caption "I'm so glad when Mommy comes home."
I came across a contest for Gerber babies and decided to enter Sam an Olivia because lets face it, they are adorable! Here's so photos I took of them. Oh an we didn't win because I never told anyone to vote.

Just because littles are cute doesn't mean it's easy to get cute photos of them. After lots of test photos these were the ones I picked...

Sam likes to play Candy Land in the mornings. Really we just play with the moving pieces and say things like "Hello Mr. Green" and then I bend my knees and the little gingerbread men go down the "slide" (my legs).
The kids got missionary tags in primary one week and Max was rocking that tag. Elese also loved her's and even took to wearing it to school. Her teacher even mentioned it at Parent Teacher conference while she was saying how kid Elese is to all of the other children and what a good example she is.
Olivia reading with Max.
Olivia enjoying a bath with the help of Elese.

On October 20th we put Olivia in a bib an in her high chair and she seemed to be thinking "What the heck are you doing to me?"

Then she had her first taste of rice cereal. She wasn't quite sure what to do with her tongue and didn't seem to like it much.

On October 29th Sam was playing with a baby doll. When I came back into the room he had put the baby
down for a nap with some cars. After all - Sam sleeps with cars so he was sure that the baby would want to
do the same.
