President Monson (my mom's cousin) was supposed to do the sealing but something came up so we were all surprised to see another sealer walk in the room but he did a great job. During the sealing I couldn't help but think about how Justen (Nicole's younger brother who was killed in a car accident 4 years ago) wasn't there. The more I thought about it I realized that he would have been on his mission during this special day and it was nice to think that he was able to be there in spirit.That evening the reception was held at Nicole's cousin's BEAUTIFUL home in Henefer. It was such a pretty evening until the dark cloud ascended and it started pouring rain. Everyone started putting gifts and things underneath the deck as quickly as possible. After about a half hour things cleared up and we threw table clothes in Andrea's dryer and things settled down a bit. On the bright side Nicole and Jordan were able to get some gorgeous photos taken in front of an amazing rainbow.
Elese tried to catch the bouquet and for about 15 minutes she and her cousin Violet stood with their arms out awaiting the magical moment. Unfortunately she didn't catch it and it was obvious by the look on her face that she was VERY disappointed. Jordan's mother noticed this and so she gave Elese her corsage. She was SO thrilled.
