Fish Lake 2010 *Aug. 14th*

We didn't stay long this year. Because I had to work we didn't leave until Saturday morning and we headed home Sunday. I think this was the first time we have ever gone up with just our family. Usually we have my family (or at least my mom) or Steven's family with us. It was fun to just be us and have the time to focus on each other. There wasn't any fishing to be done because Max's fishing pole was found broken just before we left but we still had a good time. Saturday night we headed down to the lodge where they were have a folk band play and there was dancing. We were by far the youngest people there and the band was full of some older people whose singing voices have long since left them but we did enjoy the dancing...well by we I mean Elese. After one song Steven and Max went outside and jumped off of rocks and walls to stay entertained while I stayed inside with Elese who dragged me and spun me all across the dance floor. While dancing a cute old man danced by us and said to Elese "Will you dance with me for another song?" She was very excited about it and when I told her I had to have a rest the cute guy came and asked her to dance. Although she almost knocked him over he still had a big smile on his face and gave me a much needed break.

Before heading home on Sunday we took a stroll to penny rock and then stopped at Johnson's reservoir to go exploring but all that really did was get the kids muddy and crying.

Then we decided to take an alternate route home and it ended up being a very beautiful drive home.

Oh, and I also took pictures of my favorite McCall's magazine that we keep at the cabin. "Crisco, It's digestible!"
