I'm really wishing I'd blogged about this stuff sooner. I've forgotten so much. We made cookies for Santa, took some pictures of my big belly, and headed over to the Heumann's for our annual Christmas Eve dinner. After dinner we opened gifts. Steven had been spending lots of time working on a documentary for his family. It was about an hour and a half long and everyone loved it. We laughed, we cried...it was put together really well. I have a very talented husband!
After that we headed home for our own family traditions. We each opened a pair of jammies, read the Christmas story from the bible and then read 'Twas the Night before Christmas. After a little convincing, the kids decided it would be fun to sleep in the same room together so we pulled Max's mattress in on the floor in Elese's room. Elese got a new bed for her birthday so we could have the crib/toddler bed for the baby, you can kind of see it in the pictures.
