Primary Program and Leaves *November 13th & 14th

November 13th was the Primary Program and the kids did a great job.  Max had his part memorized but Elese had most of her talk memorized but she wanted to say.  This was her talk:

Heavenly Father wants us to know how to stay safe. He calls prophets and tells them what he wants us to do.  Heavenly Father has always called prophets.  Prophets guide people so they can be safe.  When Nephi was in the desert his father Lehi was the prophet.  Heavenly Father helped Lehi  keep his family safe.  Because Lehi was faithful the Lord guided them to the Promised Land. We have a prophet today who helps us to be safe so we can return to live with our Heavenly Father.  I am thankful that through Prophets Heavenly Father keeps us safe.  In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

My favorite part of the program was that during the last song Elese (who can't read) got out a hymn book and very seriously looked as if she was singing from the book.  Silly cute girl.

Word was that snow was soon on it's way so we had to do our family tradition of jumping in the leaves.  Sam did not like it.
