Samuel was really starting to come into his own. He was getting more independent and mischievous. Here he is helping himself to cereal. This has become much more common with the new baby.
One day while watching The Voice and folding laundry Sam started dancing up a storm. I filmed it but it's upside down and I don't know how to fix it. Also- when I print this into a blog book we can't see it anyway not to mention the fact that he stopped dancing when the camera started filming. Just trust me-he was really cute.
Sam loves being in the kitchen and trying to cook. Here's a blurry photo of him trying out my oven mit.
This sweet boy was pretty good about leaving the presents alone until after Elese's birthday because then he knew there was something special inside all that wrapping paper. With some gentle reminders he continued to leave the gifts alone...well at least until Christmas Eve.
This is also the time that Sam really started to like putting on my shoes as well as Elese's. There was a time (I thought I had a photo of) when we were at dinner at the Heumann's. Sam put on Hailey's high hill shoes. Hailey's feet are much bigger than mine and the heals were also much higher. Sam put the shoes on and then squatted and used the back of the shoes as a chair. We are pretty sure that the reason he chooses the girls shoes is because they are much easier to just slip on...at least we hope that is why he chooses them...
This was about the time that Sam was transitioning from two naps to one so he would occasionally get a little sleepy and snuggle on the floor with his blanket. Max and Elese decided to join him for a little rest. (12/30/12)
About Me
- Becky
- I started out as a daughter and sister. Then things progressed and suddenly I was also a young child and a friend. As I grew I became a teen who was boy crazy and also enjoyed singing and performing in musicals. For a brief time I was a college student and then a newlywed. I enjoyed working in the "real world" as a claims adjuster's assistant. Then out of nowhere I was suddenly grown up and taking on the most challenging role of my life, Mother of 4. Now the time has come for the role of daughter to join the main players at center stage with the additional of the title, "caregiver".
